Hilarious. The Rs trying to be champions on our behalf? It must be nearing an election cycle. Relevant question, are they simply hoping that we will forget their complicity acting as Brutus in the last election?

It would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic. We have zero representation. I PPV to watch giblets and company swing, it would be the most honest thing to happen on television in decades..

    We dont need debt ceiling legislation. We need to prevent the government from having debt at all.

    Let the looters fight each other. Maybe they will forget to raise taxes until after January 1, but I seriously doubt it.

    It's time for a really long government shutdown.

    It really doesn’t matter anymore. It’s just a matter of if we drive the truck off the cliff or keep driving down the road into the ravine where we get stuck. Either way we end up at the bottom. Independent of who is behind the wheel. Someday The Yuan will replace the dollar. Then we will finally get back to fiscal responsibility. But it will get really ugly before then.
    Nothing short of outside intervention is going to fix this. We the People have lost control of our future. When China finally marginalizes us, remember, it’s a good thing.

    The only thing in favor of Republicans in con-gress is that they aren't Democrats. Based on their voting on bills passed they are all looters (with the possible exception of Rand Paul.)
