In my line of work I get the inside scoop once in a while. The Wuhan lab that everybody has suspected is the source went through a renovation in the fall before the virus grabbed the population. The renovation involved duct work. I'm designing a level-4 lab. You don't monkey with the ductwork in an active lab like that unless it's shut down and sterilized.
