- 6Posted by mikeofallon 1 year, 5 months agoCI openly planted agents in newsrooms starting in the 60's -- ostensibly to check / verify the validity of relevant news stories & that they did not divulge sensitive / classified info (whether intentional or not). It's alleged that over time this developed into creating "news". Jesse Ventura tells of his introduction to 20+ agents working at the MN state capitol bldg when he was elected governor!| Permalink
