And the controls get tighter, bit by bit.... One wonders who pays for the schools? Oh yea, the same dude they arrested....Value for Value...

    While the obvious intent of such a policy is clearly an attempt to prevent kidnapping, I have to question whether this is the most effective method of providing such protection. Simply telling parents that they're required to wait in their cars doesn't seem like it would do any good, as all a would-be kidnapper would have to do is pull up in a car of his own. I'm sure there's a better way to go about this...

    Public schools think they know better than parents and they shouldn't be challenged. Good for this Dad for not backing down...I hope more follow suit.

    The details of the school wanting kids to walk down the side of a busy highway up to a mile is just a complete indictment of the whole "we're smart" crowd. I understand what they are trying to do, but it was done in the dumbest way possible, then they turn around and have a flash of genius to use the overflow lot instead of the highway...wow, I', so glad overpaid administrators can think occasionally.
