California Governor Brown tells critics of water project: 'Shut up'

This one is interesting in that the comments all seem to be "Jerry the Dolt" and illustrate the lack of common sense in California and their politics. Hydroponics, conservation and maybe a dose of common sense could go a long way towards being options to get by with. I think maybe we ought to vote for their succession...

    I am sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. Our place has the virtue of being just outside a little village called Falls City, and we are the last property before the woods to the Coast 25 miles away. I could ride faster to the Coast than drive...but need to downsize so someday I might retire...

    Jan, I understand and would not throw you away. It is not your fault you are living in a socialist empire. But for too long California has blown huge sums on "feel good" plans, buying unions with fat contracts and is deep debt, and Jerry the Dolt wants to put you another 10 billion in debt for water projects that no hope of success? A dam only works when you have runoff, last I heard, thats the problem. You guys are well past dams and stuff, you need some serious science and technology. He seems adverse to that, and I wonder if all the jobs from the great pipes and dams are involved, and how much graft will come back to him. I have abeautiful 20 acre place for 439000 for sale here with 32 gallons per minute well if you want to bail out......

    This sounds a lot like William Shatner's plan to pipe water down from NCal and even Canada along the 5 freeway.

    This is one of the few times that Jerry is even starting to make sense. We need to have reservoirs built to capture rainwater... and it is quite nice to see the environmentalists be on the opposite side from Jerry on this point. Drip irrigation is a no-brainer as is using recycled water here.
