I think you're aiming in the wrong direction on the movies. Innovation/Entrepreneurship is alive in the US today. They've discovered getting their lobbyists.
The major extortion currently is from the productive middle/working classes to the "needy' Remember, Galt was a worker at 20th Century
The extortion, of course, continues by pols who use social welfare programs to get re-elected
Broaden the scope of movie interest by including those productive workers. Most of Microsoft/Intel/Apple etc patents come from that level of worker.
Great companies are a two way street. They are not just the "Great Industrialists"
