My wife and I live in the 8th District of Ohio. On Saturday we attended a straw poll between candidates JD Winteregg and Eric Gurr. I wrote a blog post about our experience, and why I am endorsing JD Winteregg for Congressman to replace John Boehner.

While I think your comments on JD indicate that he would be the preferable candidate, I think that either would be acceptable. You need to do something to get rid of him. He seems to be padding various special interests in order to get his big payday when he inevitably gets booted.

  Anybody would be better than Boehner at this point, but I think JD has the leading edge. I don't think Gurr is articulate enough to win.
