The commentary at the end sounded like sour grapes to me. My guess about the reason to manufacture overseas, is, the unions here are too greedy, and would drain any profits. I'm sure they considered very carefully where these shoe were made.

That reminds me... yesterday I was driving behind a truck that had a bumper sticker that said, "I built my business". A few days ago I saw one that said, "Get the UN out of the United States and the United States out of the UN."
It will be interesting to see where she goes with this and what obstacles she encounters.
