The following is apparent: 1) 12 of 35 voted no, all Ds; 2) all are in gerrymandered 'safe' districts, so no repercussions; 3) 7 of 12 are from wholly or predominately urban areas largely dependent on government programs; 4) one is Sheila Jackson-Lee, the current darling of the CBC, being touted as the director of Homeland Security (God help us all).| Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink
