Are we funding the leftist agenda?

The $17 billion Bank of America deal gave the bank “extra credit” if it donated $100 million or more to activist groups approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The list included UnidosUS, which advocates for illegal immigrants; the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, a left-leaning housing lobbyist group; Operation Hope, which pushes banks to lend to unqualified mortgage applicants in Los Angeles; and the Mutual Housing Association of New York, a spinoff of the controversial community-organizing group ACORN.

Your confidence in him is commendable.

I very much wish you were correct in trusting him.

Money collected in settlements to the US Justice dept should go to the US treasury period.

Everyone with a "social conscience" should be free to voluntarily make donations of what they have earned.
They should never have the power to take from others who have not voluntarily offered what they have earned.
So you donate your production to what you choose, and I will donate (or not donate) my production as I choose.

Money for social housing always makes sense. Ethnic weighting and quotas doesnt. I'd rather the money had gone on building decent low rent housing than for 'activists'. How about helping the poor for real instead of pocketing the money and using nice cheap words asking for more money?
I have a social conscience. I just expect money to buy something actually tangible that might actually do some good.

Yes you probably are funding it but not much. Pennies really per person.
I looked up the organisation. I would like to say they do good community work. I'm all for public donations for groups that speak up for the disadvantaged. My issue is I struggled to see what if anything unidosus does. It appears they exist to exist and their Wikipedia page bolstered that opinion. Who exactly except the group actually benefits from the funding? What injustices have they uncovered? Who have they helped? Very woolly stuff tbh.

    Of course.

    And Sessions will do nothing.

I still would like to see ANY results of the several "investigations" he allegedly undertaken against corruption of the left.

Trump made a grave mistake appointing him.

    In a word, yes.
    We have been for decades.
How many billions are wasted on socialist propaganda, and on disinformation about free markets and individual liberty in public schools?

The primary fuel for leftist expansion is that which is taken from those who earned it.
